Designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in 1971, the Wye Valley with its stunning natural scenery combines a unique blend of Welsh and English influences and attracts visitors from across the globe throughout the year.

- Hereford Cathedral with Mappa Mundi and Chained Library
- Hay on Wye town of second hand bookshops and Hay literature festival May Bank holiday weekend and following week
- Three Choirs Festival - for nearly 300 years, the cathedral cities of Gloucester, Hereford and Worcester have taken it in turn to host an annual 'music meeting'. www.3choirs.org
- Herefordshire Walking Festival
- the beautiful Golden Valley and Moccas park with ancient oaks mentioned by Rev. Francis Kilvert in his famous diaries
- National Trust houses
- "The Black and White Trail" - the picturesque black and white timbered village such as Weobley
- food capital Ludlow - a 45 minute drive - also Monmouth, Abergavenny, Ross on Wye easy drive away
- spend the day in the fantastic Forest of Dean
- cruise along the river Wye from Symonds Yat or visit nearby Yat rock and watch the Peregrine Falcons
- scenic local walks
- antique shops of Leominster
- finally treat yourselves to a massage with our local expert who practices both aromatherapy and Bowen Technique (
using fingers or thumbs to move over muscle, ligament tendon and fascia - a very subtle, relaxing and gentle involving no hard or prolonged pressure) - though this would need to be booked in advance - do ask and i will happily arrange or give you contact details.
